I begin by hand shaping copper wire to create the desired circular shape. The wire is then hammered by hand to harden and solidify the shape. A texturing hammer is used to create the hammered effect. Lastly I begin the oxidisation process to create the oxidised copper finish.
The earrings are finally placed on handmade sterling silver ear wires.
These earrings are very lightweight. You will want to wear them all day.
They look great in the light. The patina shows the texture of all the hammering and is really eye catching.
