A Little Bit About Me…

My name is Jacinta and the Hidden Marketplace has been a dream of mine for many years now. I wanted to create a safe and happy space where I could spend my days, and where all others who enter feel welcome and valued. I wanted to reach out to local creatives, many of whom are just finding their feet and their confidence, and give them a place they could connect with their customers.

Most of our creatives have faced hurdles in their lives and have made some big decisions – leading them to this moment where they now create incredible treasures and want to share them with the world. Many of our creatives haven’t been able to follow traditional pathways through life either because the pathways just didn’t fit, or because the twists and turns their life sent them on meant an entirely new pathway had to be forged.

My pathway has been one less travelled. I am proudly NeuroSpicy and have faced some pretty difficult and dark moments in my life. I have three amazing children, all who face their own non-traditional pathways. It had become so important to me to create options for community connection, self-confidence, fulfillment, and the ability to earn a living and make your own independence. This is what the Hidden Marketplace is all about.
