Description

A unique and beautiful pair of handmade earrings.

I begin by cutting the desired triangular fan shape from 1.2mm thick copper sheets. The fan pendants are roughly 3cm x 2.5cm each so they are definitely noticeable. The pieces are sanded and filed. I hammering to give texture with a texturing hammer. Holes are then drilled for the ear wires to sit in. I then begin the oxidation process which after time allows the verdigris blue colour to appear. Once I am happy with the colour, I seal the earrings.

These earrings sit on handmade sterling silver ear wires.
